Two members of ACCA’s staff presented during the HVAC Excellence event, focusing on ACCA manuals, standards, and resources.

ACCA’s Ed Janowiak, manager of HVACR design education, presented on Monday, March 25, at the conference. Janowiak’s topic was “How the ACCA Design Series is Applied Following Building Codes,” which highlighted the purpose of each ACCA manual and what is required in the code to be included for each standard.

Janowiak also presented “Selection of Cold Climate Heat Pumps Following the Guidance of ACCA Manual S®” on Tuesday, March 26. This session focused on the right and the wrong way to select a heat pump in all climates.
