Contractor Comfort Index … The First Two Years
Posted on:
In February 2010 ACCA began tracking contractors’ attitudes about short-term growth through the Contractor Comfort Index (CCI). Through a monthly, three questions survey, contractors are asked about their new customer business, their existing customer business, and the employment. When the resulting CCI is above 50, ACCA members are anticipating short-term growth.
For the first two years, the CCI has shown that contractors are still fairly confident about their businesses in the short-term. Though it has fluctuated quite a bit, it has remained above 50.
