NATE Elects New Board Members

At the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) biannual board of trustees meeting in September 2012, NATE elected five new members to its board of trustees.
The new members are Dan Ashenden, group publisher for Penton Media, Inc.; Spencer G. Atkins, the president and COO of Weathertech Distribution Co., Inc.; Gary S. Bedard, the vice president and general manager of Lennox Industries.; Dan Foley, president of Foley Mechanical Inc., based in Lorton, VA.; and Mike Murphy, the publisher of The ACHR News.
The new trustees add to the board’s diverse mix of industry and professional knowledge. The NATE board of trustees is composed of 25 professionals who represent HVAC/R manufacturers, wholesale distributors, contractors, industry associations, and education.
The NATE board meets biannually at AHRI headquarters in Arlington, VA. The Spring meeting will be held April 4, 2013 and the Fall meeting will be held September 5, 2013.
