The 179D Commercial Building Energy Efficiency tax deduction has been expanded in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Due to this change, the Department of Treasury recently announced that it will release notices to collect input from stakeholders, experts, and the public on key climate and energy tax provisions of the law.
