Do All Companies Have to Comply with the ADA?
Posted on:

Question: Must all companies comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act or is there a size threshold?
Answer: Federal law mandates all companies with fifteen (15) employees or more are bound by the Act; however, some states have different requirements that may have larger or smaller thresholds. You can check www.ada.gov, or call the ADA hotline provided by the Department of Justice at 800-514-0301 for additional information.
