ACCA Member Frederick Air Celebrates 30 Years of Service

Congratulations to ACCA Member Frederick Air, Inc on celebrating 30 years of service! Founded in 1992, Frederick Air was Frederick, Maryland’s only Bryant Factory Authorized Dealer and Mitsubishi Diamond Elite Dealer.
“There’s been ups and downs, there’s been scary times, there’s been great times,” said Steve Schmidt, founder, president, and CEO of Frederick Air, in an interview with At Your Service on 930 WFMD. “To be a leader, these are not things that you show, you have to show steadiness.”
Schmidt started Frederick Air in a building he shared with two other companies. In the 30 years since, Frederick Air has won numerous awards, including Bryant National Dealer of the Year and Best Heating and Air Company in Frederick County. Known for providing the highest quality heating and cooling systems in Frederick County, Frederick Air provides quick, honest work and excellent service.
What’s Frederick Air’s key to success? “You have to have the whole package,” said Schmidt. “You have to be able to answer the phone, you have to be able to fix things, you have to be able to replace things, you have to be able to talk to people, you have to be able to make them feel comfortable with their decisions, you have to provide value, you have to be there in an emergency, you have to follow up. Just an endless list of things…our big secret: we do what we say we are going to do. We keep our word.”
