ACCA Fall Meetings Feature Speakers You Can’t Miss!

This year, ACCA will be hosting back-to-back fall meetings, bringing together hundreds of contracting professionals for a variety of industry-led educational programs and networking events. ACCA’s Fall Meetings are one of the most successful annual contractor conferences of the HVAC industry, bringing together presenters from the front lines of contracting such as business owners, service leaders, and industry experts.
ACCA’s Fall Meetings will take place at the New Orleans Marriot in New Orleans, LA. The Office and Operations Managers Forum will be held on November 1-2, 2021, and the Service Managers Forum will be held on November 2-3, 2021. While there are many notable speakers, here are two speakers that you can’t miss:
Matt Marsiglio – After working in the HVAC industry for over 23 years, Matt Marsiglio moved from working in the field to being Operations Manager at FLAME Heating and Cooling in Warren, MI since 2011. As an Operations Manager, Matt has managed a staff of 20 residential service technicians and 3 plumbers, as well as overseeing the residential maintenance coordinator and the client service department. He has seen substantial growth in revenue over his seven years as Operations Manager and will be presenting “You Found Great Technicians Where?” in his session. Join Matt as he discusses successful recruiting programs that expand outreach to non-traditional candidates.
Chris Crew – As President of The Blue-Collar Success Group, Chris Crew knows that hiring decisions are more than just deciding to add a new member to your team. When Chris was 16, he started as an apprentice electrician and was promoted to lead technician in just eight months. In 2005, Chris then joined a residential company in Atlanta and was promoted to supervisor, becoming responsible for 18 trucks and producing more than $4 million in revenue. He moved to Florida in 2008 and served as a business coach for a large electrical company helping franchises achieve success, such as the Million Dollar Award he won in Georgia for producing $1.4 million in revenue. Chris joined The Blue-Collar Success Group in early 2018 as a success coach and has offered extensive knowledge about every facet of the in-home services from pricing and planning to recruiting and training. In his presentation, “The 4 Keys to Hiring and Retaining Talent,” Chris will be sharing his step-by-step process so that you, too, can hire with confidence. After working in the industry for over 16 years, Chris knows that the first day on the job is one of the most important experiences that can impact a new team member’s decision to stay or leave. Join Chris as he teaches four tips that are paramount to acquire and retain long-term talent.
