Hey Ed, Nathan Asks What in the World Are You Talking About Regarding ‘Oil Already in Your Furnace’?
In this edition of "Hey Ed," Ed talks about oil already in your furnace.
Hey, Ed. Nathan, who resides in the New England area, asks, what in the world are you talking about-- oil already in your furnace? I have to be 100% transparent with this one. When I first read this comment, I had a few choice things to say, only to come to the realization that I answered a question that I thought I heard with an answer that I must have been out of my gourd. And I am going to answer the question that I thought I heard. And that was, is it a good idea to put a heat pump on top of an existing oil furnace? And the answer to that is almost always yes. I’m not familiar with very many scenarios where you’re not going to get a positive return on investment when going dual fuel with an oil furnace. But what I had originally answered was not that. So this is one of those. I genuinely appreciate the comment from that one, because it added to my blooper reel. And that’s the way I see it.
