Matt, How Do I Talk to a Tech About Keeping Their Truck Clean?

In this edition of "HVAC Skill Builder," Matt discusses how to talk to a tech about keeping their truck clean

Matt, how do I talk to a tech about keeping their truck clean? Well, I would recommend weekly maybe or monthly to go out there and do a truck inspection and make sure that their truck is well kept. There's no sunflower seeds or food up in the dash. The tools and the other parts are secure and that you expect them to arrive again at that customer's house in a professional manner and professional technicians keep a clean and orderly van because I've had people come out when I was a service technician asked to see the inside of my van. They wanted to see what carried and if you are that technician, the customer has to see that and your van looks sloppy, that's probably going to kill your credibility and not land a very good first impression with that customer.
