Virtual Training: An Overview of ACCA Manual S

Posted on:

Ed Janowiak, course instructor and ACCA Manager of HVACR Design Education

ACCA’s Manual S ® explains how to select and size heating and cooling equipment to meet loads for a particular home, which are based on local climate and home construction specifics calculated by Manual J®. Contractors in Miami, Phoenix, and Seattle – all have extremely different climates – and would never use the same equipment or expect the same results. Manual S provides sizing requirements for 11 types of cooling and heating equipment, as well as in-depth explanations, and examples of how to use the manufacturer’s performance data.

On Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at 1PM ET, you can join Rise to the Top – Overview of ACCA Manual S ® live virtual training to learn the basics of how to select and size heating and cooling equipment to meet Manual J® load calculations. Presented by ACCA’s Ed Janowiak, manager of HVACR design education, this class takes the nationally recognized residential load calculation standard and breaks it down in a way that is easy to understand and apply.

The Overview of ACCA Manual S® course costs $199 for ACCA members and $275 for non-members. You can register by clicking here. Please contact us at training@acca.org if you have any questions. See you there!
