Matt, what is a maintenance ambush? Maintenance ambush is when a customer calls up your company and request a technician to come out and they have a problem with their system but in their mind, all they think they need is maintenance to correct the problem. So, a technician goes out there, starts doing a maintenance. He doesn't even check if it comes on or whatnot and by the time that he finishes, he finds out that there was in fact a problem with the system that the customer did not tell him and the customer will accuse the technician of breaking it which starts a war between he said she said and it is possible your company may end up doing free work just to keep the customer satisfied.
