Matt, What Do You Do When a Customer Wants a Very Specific Brand?
In this edition of "HVAC Skill Builder," Matt discusses what to do when a customer wants a specific brand
Matt, what do you do when a customer wants a very specific brand? That's a great question and there are many customers out there that are brand loyal. Sometimes, customers don't even know brand A from brand B. However, one way to help your customer select a system that namely you install probably pretty regularly is explain to them how the system operates, how your company is going to install it. ACCA has a great installation standard and if you follow those practices in that standard, you're going to have a better outcome of having that system live longer and operate more efficiently versus a brand a customer thinks is outstanding but it was poorly installed. The key to a successful system's operation and efficiency is a proper installation. The most important day of a system's life is day one, the day it was installed regardless of brand.
