Matt, Do You Have Any Opinions on Monthly Billing Versus Annual Billing for Maintenance Membership Programs?

In this edition of "HVAC Skill Builder," Matt discusses if he has any opinions on monthly billing versus annual billing for maintenance membership programs

Matt, do you have any opinions on monthly billing versus annual billing for maintenance membership programs? Absolutely. My opinion is that the monthly charges have worked out pretty well in the past. Once a technician starts getting those monthly charges, in their mind, it kind of becomes part of their monthly bills for example and they just become used to paying that and also it rolls over from year to year as opposed to making a one-time payment, it it doesn't allow the customer to easily renew especially they're not engaged with the program which would require you or dispatch or call take or technician to remind them and it really kind of lowers the chances of getting that renewal as opposed to with the monthly membership withdrawal. Customers again kind of expect that during the month. They don't have have to worry about a lapse in their protection of the equipment, the service calls, emergency calls, and they're able to just keep on moving along smoothly with your business.
