How are QA Contractors Prioritized for Sales Leads?

If you have not had a chance to visit the Quality Assured (QA) Contractor Directory located on the ACCA website at www.acca.org/qa/qa-directory, you should! It provides a place where HVACR customers, builders, contractors, and raters can find a Quality Assured (QA) Program Accredited contractor. These contractors are licensed, registered, and insured. They are also eligible to install HVAC systems in construction projects that follow the ENERGY STAR Certified Homes requirements. Our directory is here to help you set yourself apart from the competition, bring in more business, and generate more revenue.

From May 1, 2020, through October 30, 2020, there were 15,730 searches for QA contractors. From those searches, nearly 40% clicked to receive more in-depth contact details in the search results. When your company record shows up in the search results, your company name, address, accreditation type, and company website are displayed. However, if a homeowner or builder wants to call your company, they should click “View Phone” to display your company phone number. Having your company website linked in your search results record will help increase traffic to your website. Thus, our directory is heavily used, which means there is a high chance your business will receive an inquiry from a homeowner or builder.

Stats for ACCA Contractor Member Locator

It is important to note that in addition to our QA Contractor Directory that provides ACCA members and non-members, the ACCA Contractor Locator at https://hvac-contractors.acca.org/locator only shows ACCA members. Then, users can search just for members that are also QA Contractors. This locator excludes non-members of ACCA. From February 14, 2020, through November 18, 2020, 37,100 searches were performed, and the box that is highlighted below in blue by the arrow that reads, “Only show QA Approved ENERGY STAR Contractors,” was checked about 60% of the time. This is excellent news for QA Accredited contractors because homeowners and builders are explicitly looking for them!
