Hey Ed, Will asks, “What’s your favorite go-to Manual D® software?”
In this edition of "Hey Ed," Ed discusses the best way to do your Manual D® calculations.
Hey Ed, Will asks, "What's your favorite go-to Manual D® software? When it comes to using Manual D®, for the most part, I’m still a pen and paper kind of guy. I’ve done it that way for a long time and I will most likely continue to do it that way. But if I was in a situation where my daily grind was doing duct designs, I would be doing it with a draw program. And I would be doing it with a draw program that’s recognized by ACCA. So that’s a way for me to say, I don’t have one specific vendor that’s my favorite, but one that’s recognized by ACCA. This way I know Manual D® is followed in its entirety. And that’s the way I see it.
