Hey Ed, What Can I Do if I Cannot Find the Filter’s Performance Data?

Hey Ed, what can I do if I cannot find the filter’s performance data? If I don't know the performance data or the pressure drop information for a filter, I'm gonna be very hesitant to use it. I don't like the idea of waiting for something bad to happen like making ice in an air conditioning application or watching for a furnace to cycle in on limit. I would be apprehensive of putting a filter that I can’t see through in the system unless I know the system was designed for a higher Merv, higher pressure drop filter and that’s the way I see it.
