Hey Ed, is there a new EPA 608 certification for A2Ls?
In this edition of "Hey Ed," Ed discusses the new EPA 608 certification for A2Ls.
Hey Ed, is there a new EPA 608 certification for A2Ls? The last time I looked at this and got dates that I could associate it with was July of 24 and as of July of 24 there was no requirement for any additional certification federally or nationally. That does not mean that your local supply house may not require or may require you to have a certification to purchase refrigerant or a piece of equipment but I want to be specific with this. That is not a national requirement but it may be a requirement of your local supplier and that’s the way I see it.
