Hey Ed, Does the new Manual S® still have a path to size based on AC requirement?
In this edition of “Hey Ed,” Ed discusses the path to size based on AC requirement in Manual S.
Hey Ed, does the new Manual S® still have a path to size based on AC requirement? The new Manual S® absolutely does. Every Manual S® has a path to ensure that we have a properly sized air conditioner in that structure. And when I say properly sized, I want to emphasize this. Bigger air conditioners do not provide more comfort. When you put something in that’s larger than necessary, it runs less. And when a system runs less, it dehumidifies less. And we can never forget that a big part of any air conditioning system is not only to drop the temperature in the structure, but to remove that humidity. And that’s the way I see it.
