Hey Ed, Can You Address Ventilation Loads if We’re Following Guidance Such as ASHRAE 62.2?
In this edition of "Hey Ed," Ed talks about address ventilation loads when following guidance such as ASHRAE 62.2.
Hey, Ed, can you address ventilation loads if we’re following guidance such as ASHRAE 62.2? I absolutely can. 62.2 has a revolving cycle where it is perpetually updated. What is in manual J is a version at a specific period of time, which may or may not coincide with the jurisdiction or state that you are presently working in. I would recommend that you contact your local authority having jurisdiction or your local code official and have them guide you to what the current version of 62.2 for that location is. And that’s the way I see it.
