Hey Ed, are digital gauges better than analog gauges?
In this edition of "Hey Ed," Ed discusses digital gauges versus analog gauges.
Hey Ed, are digital gauges better than analog gauges? Gages that you know how to use are going to be the best gauges to use. One of the analogies that I’ve used as of late, specifically when I hear somebody saying that there should be a learning process where analog is used before digital. And I have to say I do not agree with that whatsoever. I believe there is a segment of our population out there that learned to tell time on an analog clock. Therefore they know how to look at a gauge that has an analog face and they believe that is the path to learning how to do something. I don’t agree with that. I think that if the person checking the charge understands the difference between a starved, a flooded, or a coil in a proper condition, that’s what’s important here. And that’s the way I see it.
