Hey, Ed, are AHRI ratings useful? AHR ratings are very useful for what they’re intended to be used for. And that’s to compare various makes and models of air conditioners and heat pumps. What they are often used for is to select equipment. And that was not their intended purpose. I am an advocate of using anything for its selected purpose. And that’s the way I see it.
