Jeff Persons holds a master’s degree in Geology and is a ground water hydrogeologist with over 35 years of experience in the geothermal heat-pump and hydronic industry. Jeff began his involvement with geothermal in the mid 1970’s as a means to encourage energy conservation and reduce US dependence on foreign oil. In 1986, after 10 years promoting geothermal technology through seminars, manuals, and product design assistance, Jeff founded a Columbus, Ohio based geothermal services company that has evolved into Geo Source One, Inc. At the local level his company specializes in the design and installation of custom geothermal and radiant heating systems.
