ACCA recognizes HVACR industry’s best at 2025 Awards Reception

ACCA’s annual Awards Reception at ACCA 2025 put a spotlight on the HVACR industry’s most innovative contractors and leaders as they gathered in Texas this week.

These honorees represent the best of ACCA membership, demonstrating exceptional leadership during major shifts in refrigerant standards and workforce challenges.

Outgoing Chair Martin Hoover passes the torch to Eddie McFarlane

The event marked a leadership transition as Martin Hoover concluded his term as ACCA Board Chair, with Eddie McFarlane stepping into the role for 2025-2026.

“I’m incredibly proud of this year’s award winners,” said McFarlane. “Each recipient has shown remarkable dedication to advancing our industry through innovation, service excellence, and community leadership. From helping contractors navigate the refrigerant transition to developing the next generation of HVACR professionals, these industry leaders exemplify the resourceful spirit that makes our association strong.”

Residential Contractor of the Year

  • James Lane Air Conditioning (Winner)
    A family-owned company with over six decades of service across Texas and southern Oklahoma

  • Service Manager of the Year Award (sponsored by ACHR News): Josh Aguirre, whose leadership resulted in $700,000 in additional service revenue
