ACCA New Jersey Hosts Inaugural Membership Drive And Gala

The newly formed Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) – New Jersey Chapter, recently held their inaugural membership drive and first annual Gala with huge success.

“New Jersey contractors deserve to have the best, and ACCA brings that to them. A successful membership drive was an important step in helping the HVACR industry in New Jersey,” says Fred Hutchinson, CEO of Hutchinson Plumbing Heating Cooling in Cherry Hill and a director for ACCA NJ. “The NJ chapter was formed less than a year ago. This exciting and rapid growth only supports New Jersey’s need for the ACCA.”

ACCA New Jersey’s President Joe Roberts, of Joseph H. Roberts, Inc., spearheaded the membership initiative increasing the number of members from 74 to 200.

In conjunction with the first ever membership drive, ACCA New Jersey held their first annual Gala on May 2nd in Atlantic City during the ACCA regional trade show. Pete Sanders of P.R. Sanders Home Services was awarded for bringing in the most New Member Applications. Additional awards and recipients include:

The team that signs up the most new members received: $100 gift cards

The Individual who signs up the most new members received: iPad 3
WINNER: PETE SANDERS

The Most Inspirational Team Member received: Free Pass to Gala
WINNER: Ed Baumann

The Team that signs up the least new members received: Alber Services t-shirt and other items
WINNER: Bill Abrams, Bill Campbell

In addition to Roberts and Hutchinson, board members for the new organization are: Brian J. With the addition of ACCA New Jersey, ACCA has 10 state chapters and 33 local chapters serving contractors nationwide.
