ACCA Back in Person on Capitol Hill
Posted on:

Last week, ACCA President and CEO Barton James and Government Relations Manager Chris Czarnecki met with Congressman Roger Williams (R-TX) in his office on Capitol Hill. ACCA thanked him for his work fighting for contractors in Congress when it comes to energy efficiency and workforce issues, for his recent participation in ACCA’s career and technical education webinar, and most recently for helping organize and participate in a workforce roundtable with ACCA members at Hill College in his district. Additionally we discussed the legislative outlook on taxes and infrastructure. This was the Congressman’s first in person meeting in his Washington, D.C. office since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
