Grateful for our ACCA community

As Thanksgiving approaches, I find myself reflecting on the many things we have to be grateful for this year within the ACCA community. It’s been a year of progress, connection, and collaboration—things that make our work in this industry so rewarding.
This year, I’m especially thankful for the launch of The Air Came to a Stop, our children’s book, launched on November 12, that introduces the next generation to the indispensable work we do. Projects like this remind me of how impactful our industry can be, not just in homes and businesses but in shaping young minds.
I’m also proud of the opportunities we’ve had to recognize outstanding members of our community through the ACCA Awards. Celebrating the innovation, leadership, and service within our industry always reaffirms the strength and talent we share.
The Service Managers Forum this year was another bright spot, bringing us together to learn, share ideas, and support one another in tackling challenges head-on.
And in a year shaped by a tense election season, our advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill were more important than ever. I’m grateful for the tireless work of those who represented ACCA and our industry, ensuring that the voices of HVACR professionals are heard.
As we look ahead to 2025, I’m excited about what’s to come. ACCA 2025 promises to be an incredible event, with keynote speaker Tommy Mello leading the charge. It will be a chance to come together, learn, and continue building a brighter future for our industry.
This Thanksgiving, I want to express my gratitude to all of you—our members, partners, staff, and supporters. Your dedication and passion keep ACCA thriving. I hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday with your loved ones, filled with warmth, gratitude, and good company.
Wishing you all the best,
Martin Hoover
Chair, ACCA Board of Directors
