Hey Ed, does the new Manual S® have a lot of changes?
In this edition of “Hey Ed,” Ed discusses the latest changes to Manual S.
Hey Ed, does the new manual S have a lot of changes? The new manual S has some significant changes, while at the same time, nothing’s really changed. And when I say that, it’s specific to whether we’re talking about air conditioning or heating. If we are talking about air conditioning, our goal to never oversize an air conditioner is in there the way it was when the first manual S came out in 2004. When it comes to heating though, especially for those in heat pump land, you’re going to love the new manual S because it provides a path to heat with the heat pump while we maintain the integrity of the air conditioning system to pull the water out when necessary. And that’s the way I see it.
