ACCA is saddened to share the passing of former Board Member Larry Cook, a respected leader and advocate for the HVACR industry. Cook served on the ACCA Board of Directors from 2003 to 2008, contributing his extensive industry knowledge and leadership to the association. Throughout his 37-year career with TDIndustries, he held various leadership positions, shaping best practices and mentoring colleagues while maintaining a reputation as a dedicated servant leader. Cook’s influence also extended to his work on the National Board and Executive Committee for ACCA, where he played a pivotal role in advancing the interests of HVACR professionals.
Outside of work, Cook was known for his deep love of family and community. He enjoyed spending time at the West Lakes Club in East Texas, where he could often be found fishing, enjoying the outdoors, or simply relaxing with loved ones. A proud grandfather, he was passionate about supporting his grandchildren, Hayden and Hadleigh, at their sports events and activities. Cook shared a lifelong partnership with his wife, Marsha, and they traveled the world together, embracing both adventure and quiet moments.
Cook’s legacy of leadership, generosity, and dedication to his family will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held on Monday, February 17, at 11:00 AM CST at First United Methodist Church of Coppell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to T. Boone Pickens Faith Presbyterian Hospice, the American Cancer Society, First United Methodist Church of Coppell, or a charity of choice.
