ACCA is excited to announce our updated and expanded volunteer opportunities, offering members new ways to contribute to the HVACR industry. Whether you’re passionate about shaping the future of HVACR, building industry connections, or advocating for policies that benefit contractors, our volunteer programs have something for you. By joining a committee, task force, or peer group, you’ll not only give back to the industry but also help guide its future.
We are pleased to offer a range of volunteer opportunities, including short-term, project-based task forces and subcommittees and year-round committees focused on vital areas of the HVACR industry. One exciting new addition to our offerings is the Government Relations Committee, designed for members who want to actively shape industry policies and regulations.
Volunteer committees
Here’s an overview of the key committees that are seeking dedicated members like you:
NEW: ACCA Government Relations Committee
Our latest committee advocates for policies that promote growth and sustainability in HVACR. Members will work closely with legislators and regulatory bodies, shaping policies that support the industry’s goals. This committee also manages the ACCA-PAC, organizing advocacy events and fundraising efforts to represent HVACR interests at every level of government.
ACCA Events Committee
This committee is responsible for organizing and supporting ACCA’s signature events, such as the annual conference and fall forums. Committee members work to create impactful and engaging experiences that strengthen industry connections and provide value to our members and partners.
ACCA Member Experience Committee
Focused on enhancing the ACCA member experience, this committee develops new resources, repurposes existing content, and ensures member benefits are impactful. The committee’s goal is to improve the overall value we offer to members and the industry.
ACCA Membership Growth Committee
With a dual focus on attracting new members and retaining existing ones, this committee helps expand ACCA’s reach and influence. Committee members promote the benefits of ACCA membership, engage with members to enhance their experience, and act as ambassadors for the organization, so we can continue to provide valuable resources that drive business success.
ACCA Partners Committee
The Partners Committee builds and sustains valuable relationships with ACCA strategic partners. Members aim to identify potential partnerships and help transition associate members into long-term ACCA partners, fostering collaborative efforts that benefit our association and its members.
ACCA Technical Committee
This committee develops and maintains ACCA’s technical standards and resources. Members help create new standards, maintain compliance among American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-certified products, and produce whitepapers to address technical questions from members and partners. If you’re passionate about technical excellence, this is the committee for you.
