Hey Ed, Can You Give a Brief Summary of the Balance Points That We Deal With?
In this edition of "Hey Ed," Ed talks about balance points.
Hey Ed, can you give a brief summary of the balance points that we deal with? I sure can. The two balance points that we predominantly deal with, number one being a thermal balance point, and that is the temperature at which the heating plant for the structure can no longer maintain temperature because the outdoor temperature is falling. The second one is known as an economic balance point, and that tells us when it becomes more cost effective to switch over to a different fuel from our primary source, and that’s the way I see it.
