Recognition from industry peers elevates your company’s credibility in their eyes and those of your employees, community, and consumers. Whether you’re a residential or commercial contractor, have an outstanding service manager, contribute to your community, or have an outstanding marketing plan, ACCA has an award to recognize your achievements. Now is the last chance for ACCA members to submit nominations for this year’s prestigious awards:
Service Manager of the Year
The Service Manager of the Year Award, sponsored by the Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration News, recognizes a leader in an ACCA member company who goes above and beyond the normal scope of their job as a service manager to make the company more successful.
2023’s Service Manager of the Year Award winner: Dean Perez of CroppMetcalfe Services (Fairfax, VA)
Distinguished Service Award
Each year, ACCA depends on the dedicated efforts of hundreds of volunteers who devote thousands of hours to committee service, providing leadership and guidance on everything from standards development to membership programs. All of our volunteers are incredibly valuable and deserve a debt of gratitude from the rest of the industry. Occasionally, one volunteer distinguishes himself or herself in a manner that calls for even more recognition. We present those individuals with a Distinguished Service Award.
2023’s Distinguished Service Award winner: Brian Stack of Stack Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric (Avon, OH)
Residential Contractor of the Year
The Residential Contractor of the Year program offers exceptional HVACR contractors a unique marketing opportunity to demonstrate to their customers and their community that they have exceeded national standards and that they offer breakthrough performance and high-quality results.
2023’s Residential Contractor of the Year winner: Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, & Electrical (Nashville, TN)
Commercial Contractor of the Year
The Commercial Contractor of the Year program offers exceptional HVACR contractors a unique marketing opportunity to demonstrate to their customers and their community that they have exceeded national standards and that they offer breakthrough performance and high-quality results.
2023’s Commercial Contractor of the Year winner: Gillette Air Conditioning Company (San Antonio, TX)
Community Leadership Award
The ACCA Community Leadership Award recognizes an ACCA member who has made extraordinary contributions to the betterment of society and their community. Nominees and recipients of this award should exemplify the following characteristics: Service-oriented, Knowledgeable and Kind, Integrity, and Partnership (SKIP). This award highlights that a person’s success is not only measured by financial accomplishments but also by the impact that a person has on their community at-large. It is a tribute to the memory of Skip’s remarkable character and his philosophy of life – helping, caring, and sharing with others.
2023’s Community Leadership Award winner: Tom Jackson of Jackson Systems & Supply (Indianapolis, IN)
Spirit of Independence Award
The Spirit of Independence Award is the highest individual honor in our industry. It is presented only occasionally to a person who has had a profound impact on the HVACR contracting profession. These individuals are the industry’s legends, each of whom has left a mark on our entire community through service, innovation, and personal commitment. This award is presented to an individual; company names are included for identification purposes only.
