Hey Ed, Is There a Way to Evaluate the System’s Refrigerant Charge Without Connecting My Gauges?

Hey Ed, is there a way to evaluate the system’s refrigerant charge without connecting my gauges? There absolutely is, and one of my favorite ways to look in the system is with the process that we refer to as noninvasive testing, if we could take the wet-bulb on the supply and a wet-bulb in the return, we can determine the change in enthalpy on the system and with that information, we can get a very good idea of how much capacity the system has and if the system has the proper amount capacity, it has to have the right charge, right? And that’s the way I see it.
