Coolray Academy Opens Doors for the Future of HVACR
Posted on:
Wrench Group, a national leader in home services, has opened Coolray Academy, an Atlanta-based vocational training school that pays students to attend.
Coolray, a Wrench company, pays students to attend the training school so that they can focus on their studies instead of trying to moonlight with other jobs. In exchange, students agree to work for Coolray for a defined period of time after graduating from the academy.
Coolray Academy also features a fully-functioning, hands-on lab, which includes four HVAC units, four water heaters, and other functioning appliances, including bathroom fixtures and sinks. Coolray also teaches the fundamentals of customer service and professionalism.
The academy is one of multiple Wrench Group companies developing their own vocational training and educational programs to combat the national shortage of skilled technicians.
