Finalists are judged on a range of qualities including community involvement, industry involvement, and a commitment to training and certifications. A panel of ACCA Past Board Chairs judge the finalists and select the winner. The 2022 judges were; Phil London, Thermal Concepts, Inc., Davie, FL; Tony Shaker, Enfinity Partners, LLC., Mashpee, MA; Steve Lauten, Total Air & Heat Co., Plano, TX; and Stan Johnson, retired.
Tracy Parrish, Howell’s Heating & Air vice president of service, received the Commercial Contractor of the Year award at the 2022 ACCA Conference & Expo, March 28-30 in St. Louis, MO.
“Congratulations to Howell’s Heating & Air on this great accomplishment,” said Barton James, ACCA president and CEO. “Since 1969, Howell’s has been designing, installing, and servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems, earning them the reputation of being reliable experts, and making them the obvious choice for this honor.”
“It is a tremendous honor to be recognized by ACCA for what we’ve accomplished so far,” said Rich Krider, Howell’s Heating & Air president. “Winning the 2022 Commercial Contractor of the Year Award is a fitting tribute to our founders and the legacy they established and that we continue to cultivate. We strive to honor their core foundation of continuing education and personal evolution. This award is a celebration of our journey to this point and for Howell’s leaders, present and future, it is a benchmark.
